Briefly describe the methods of dewatering and drying conditioning of sludge stacker?

(Summary description)The sludge dewatering of the stacker is a heat treatment process, which is a process of heating the sludge to quickly evaporate the moisture of the sludge to ensure complete drying. The low-temperature waste heat sludge drying system uses hot air to directly or indirectly dehydrate and dry the sludge (the mechanical dehydration sludge has a moisture content of 75% to 80% before drying) to reduce the sludge moisture content to about 10% and dry.

Briefly describe the methods of dewatering and drying conditioning of sludge stacker?

Information
The sludge dewatering of the stacker is a heat treatment process, which is a process of heating the sludge to quickly evaporate the moisture of the sludge to ensure complete drying. The low-temperature waste heat sludge drying system uses hot air to directly or indirectly dehydrate and dry the sludge (the mechanical dehydration sludge has a moisture content of 75% to 80% before drying) to reduce the sludge moisture content to about 10% and dry. After the sludge volume is greatly reduced, and the pathogenic bacteria in the treated sludge meet the national requirements

What are the methods of dewatering and drying conditioning of stacker screw sludge

Elutriation

Sludge elutriation is washing the sludge with river water or treated water to reduce the alkalinity and viscosity in the sludge to save the amount of coagulant. Sludge elutriation is only applicable to digested sludge. As the sludge produces a large amount of bicarbonate during the digestion process, its alkalinity can be more than 30 times that of the raw sludge. If it is directly chemically adjusted, it will consume a large amount of coagulant.

The use of the elutriation method requires the addition of structures such as the elutriation tank. The increase in cost is close to the cost of the coagulant. Therefore, the elutriation adjustment method has been eliminated. The newly designed sludge treatment plant no longer uses this method.

Chemical regulation

The chemical adjustment method is to add appropriate coagulants, coagulants ... chemical agents to the sludge to flocculate the sludge particles and improve the dewatering performance of the sludge. Coagulants usually do not have a coagulation effect. The fundamental effect is to adjust the pH of the sludge, change the structure of the sludge particles, destroy the stability of the colloid, and improve the coagulation of the coagulant.

The basic effect of the coagulant is to neutralize the charge of the sludge colloidal particles and compress the thickness of the double layer, reduce the affinity of the particles and moisture, stabilize the sludge, and improve its dehydration.

Freeze conditioning

Freezing conditioning is to alternately freeze and thaw the sludge to change the physical structure of the sludge, destabilize the colloid and rupture the cell membrane, and free the internal moisture of the cells to improve the dehydration performance of the sludge.

Heat and pressure conditioning

Sludge heating and pressure conditioning is the process of heating the sludge to destroy and decompose the cell material in the sludge, free the internal water in the cell membrane, and dissolve the hydrophilic organic colloid material, thereby improving the sludge dehydration performance. According to different heating temperatures, it can be divided into two types: high temperature pressure conditioning method and low temperature pressure conditioning method.

The high temperature pressure conditioning method is to raise the sludge to 170 ~ 200 ℃, the pressure is 1.0 ~ 1.5MPa, the reaction time is 40 ~ 120min, and the moisture content of the sludge after the conditioning can be reduced by 80% ~ 87%. However, it has been proven in practice that when the reaction temperature rises above 175 ° C, the equipment is prone to fouling, the heat exchange efficiency is reduced, and the dissolved substances in the separation solution are increased, making the separation solution difficult to handle.

The reaction temperature of the low-temperature pressure conditioning method is below 150 ° C, so that the hydrolysis of organic matter is controlled, and the separation liquid BOD5 is 40% -50% lower than the high-temperature pressure conditioning method. Therefore, the low-temperature pressure conditioning method has been developed. The equipment and operation management of the low-temperature pressure conditioning method are basically the same as the high-temperature pressure conditioning method. This method is mainly applicable to primary sedimentation sludge, digested sludge, activated sludge, humus sludge and their mixed sludge.
